Cyanamid Started in 1982 when two friends Dan Muleavey (vocals) and Mark Roll (bass) wanted to start a band. They were joined by a new friend James Castelli (guitar). They` started to write songs. They need a drummer that understood their vision. Dan approached a high school classmate Chris Albert (drummer). They got together four times before they played their first live show at the Manville Elks first punk night. What Dan named our fifth practice. We never new or will know how we connected and we may never know. We just connect.

It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles

The mix of shoegaze, punk, and noise from this Seattle band is notable for its urgency and bright, foregrounded vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 9, 2023
Super cool ESG-style herky-jerky post-punk with lots of groove, attitude, and glitched out electronics plus wiry guitars. Truly wild stuff! Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 27, 2023
